SMITH vs. ROCK - WILL SMITH SMACKS CHRIS ROCK AT THE OSCARS - NEGRO CATCH 22

The Oscars SmackDown between #Will Smith and comedian #Chris rock has broken the Internet. But that’s not the only thing it’s broken, the hearts and expectations of African-American and African diaspora around the world.

There seems to be a catch 22 – on the one hand, you have something that has been rare where you see a black man defending a black woman out in the open. On the other hand, you see one intelligent black man slap another intelligent black man (both icons in their own right) on live television galvanizing the black-on-black violence narrative. No matter who you bet on, the negro community takes an “L” in the bout?

It all depends on how you look at it. We are going to explore the positives and negatives in this inaugural “Sweet Tea” segment where we extract the “sweet” out of the trending relationship “tea.”
