Inspired by a discussion thread I saw recently I got curious about the following questions: Which groups of people in the EA Community do you think get the least rewarded socially (by the community)? Do you have any ideas how we can improve this? What actions can we take collectively/individually? The thread in particular mentioned this "People often express gratitude to great ops people, but it doesn't seem to me that they get invited to the cool parties or involved in the cool conversations."/"I worry a bit that the movement toward "just get every researcher with a big brain a personal assistant" is exacerbating this dynamic. And it's even grosser when you consider the typical gender dynamics" This seemed to me like something that should be brought to this forum in some shape or form, but I feel this is possibly just the tip of the iceberg. This seemed to me especially important as a lack of social reward can have (in aggregation) a great effect on how the community develops as a whole over the long-term.
