Diana and Ian go off the rails recapping the disappointing events of 2021 before launching into their hopes for 2022. We talk about healthy boundaries, the change we'd like to see in society, burnout, and healing the inner child all before the first half-hour is even over. Children acting like adults all over the country leads the dynamic duo into a debate over the philosophies of motivation versus dedication in art and production. We discuss adult diets, how to set commitments and reach goals by following through, and generally encourage ourselves and our listeners to celebrate personal growth. The two lovebirds get on their soapbox about communication in relationships, discuss their gender fluidity/queerness/androgyny, and question how much the world's natural tendency to force conformity on us all has effected them. Finally, we juxtapose the hate, cruelty, and ignorance of some humans with recommendations for self-exploration, exposure to culture, and diverse friendships.
We hope you're all doing well in 2022; it is likely mid-February by the time this is coming out!
