Time to pop the cork off some champagne! This week, Diana and Ian are celebrating after Biden announced student loan forgiveness for the masses. While we get some wholesome time catching up with our hosts in the beginning of the hour, the meat of this podcast is spent discussing some rather disturbing world news. Our hosts first talk about the car-bomb assassination of outspoken, pro-war Darya Dugina in Russia, then explore whether they think this tragedy is tied to the conflict in Ukraine. In Mexico, Fredid Román and his son Bladimir Román are both murdered, but by, perhaps, different crime syndicates. Fredid Román may have been targeted for exposing corruption within the government, whereas his son was certainly victim to the area's prevalent gangs. Crime, war, death, and so many other sources of negativity exist out there. Remember to take some time to remain positive within your own, small circle of influence.
