POETRY: Getting older

It's so hard to accept the possibilities and letting hope enter in your heart, Life seems easy when you don't care, but when you're forced to care life becomes a game with stages. Growth grows liabilities. Someone said to me that if you manage to be happy and responsible at a time you'll get everything you want. But is that so easy? I don't think so! I'm aging and I'm worried about my future, losing someone forever. How will I handle such a situation when I'm an older child. I don't want to cry but some days I do. I think it's okay to cry and it's okay to feel alive As I get old my memories begin to fade just like printed ink. my mind is so complicated right now that I am imagining the moments never happened. I am so scattered by the thought of losing someone I love that I even try to convince myself with lies, that everything's going to stay where it is. somewhere my heart knows that everyone's gonna die and someday I will be lost in the remembrance of someone I loved. “time heals everything” they say but ‘No’ time makes us old and help forgetting the old memories with passing hour. often I think how cruel is time tightening its trip around everyone's neck
