2nd Sunday of Lent

The Transfiguration is a great reminder and hope of why Christians go through seasons like lent. Lent is certainly a time of purification, but lent is also a time of preparation for the life to come. 

Eternal beatitude (happiness) is when we will encounter the living God and behold Him face to face. In order to reach this place of peace and joy, we must ascend up the mountain with the help of God's grace and the gift of a spiritual guide.
