The Baptism of the Lord

It is important to note that Jesus Christ did not need to be baptized. Baptism is for humanity as a result of original sin. By His baptism though, Jesus makes holy the waters of every baptism that will take place following His. Baptism is the beginning for the Christian who journeys from death to new life.
