In this episode we discuss Genesis 12:1-9 and Genesis 15 where makes an eternal covenant with Abraham. God’s plan to redeem all people is installed through a series of strategic covenants that are unveiled throughout the Bible: the Abrahamic covenant, the Mosaic covenant, the Davidic covenant, and the New covenant. These four covenants form the infrastructure through which God’s Master Plan to restore all things is put into effect. The covenant God makes with Abraham is the first of these redemptive covenants, and it is actually the foundation that the other three covenants are built upon. So if you care about your sins being forgiven, if you care about eternal life, and if you care about the whole earth being liberated from sin and suffering, then you should care deeply about God’s covenant with Abraham that is described in Genesis 12 & 15.
