Deon was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at 2 years of age andrequired extensive and ongoing rehabilitation and physiotherapy programs as a young boy.

Cousin to former AFL players Jade and Brady Rawlings, Deon says the desire to play sport ran through his veins. Deon discovered his love for running by doing laps around his paddock at home and is now a World Record breaking, 2 timeParalympian.
