Will Smith is the founder of JCP Youth. A Tasmanian based organisation working with young people delivering youth leadership seminars in schools, leadership camps and community engagement, predominantly working with troubled youth. Will is one of the most passionate people I have ever met. And get this, he even knows and has a friendship with the actual Will Smith!! After being arrested for a serious crime as a youth, Will eventually tuned his life around to do something most would not even consider after his history, he became a police officer.

But a few years ago, he gave all that up to develop JCP and has fully immersed himself into leading, guiding and working with troubled youth across the state. In this chat we speak about the moment Will saw a young person he used to work with on National Tv accused of a rape and murder. And how this completely changed his direction but built his drive to want to make a bigger difference. We talk about finding purpose, his learnings, his passion for the kids he works with, being present in moments and the importance of that. Will, the 2019 Tasmanian Young Australian of the Year, is full on, passionate, articulate, driven and very genuine. To be honest, he is such an awesome bloke and I bloody loved this chat so much.
