Here's the order of events: Epic Games puts direct payment into Fortnite on iPhone and Android Apple bans Fortnite from the App Store Google bans Fortnite from the Play Store Epic sues Apple and Google Fortnite shows an ad that rips off the 1984 Apple Superbowl ad and uses the hashtag #FreeFortnite It's SEVERAL days later and things are still hapepning every day

I care too much about this stuff, and while I don't have a dog in the Epic vs Apple fight, I do care a lot about what kinds of products can be built and what gets left behind when we limit our App Stores for business reasons.

In this video I've broken down the history of the Apple App Store, explained how Xbox Game Pass is tied into all of this, and taken a stab at why I think Apple hasn't backed down.
