My truest test!
As someone who has been clinically diagnosed with depression Learning that I can heal and change without pharmaceuticals has been a Journey! I have felt defined by my diagnosis limited to what can be achieved in my life because at times I’m not a functioning member of society. This thought process has only kept me stuck in the same habitual behavior and I am ready to take complete ownership of my thoughts, feelings, and actions.
Today I have been reminded that its okay to take a few steps forward and a few steps backwards…
I am just about 2 months postpartum. Imagine every emotion you’ve ever felt magnified! It is as though I am experiencing everything for the first time and in a sense I am…my life will never be what it once was, which I am very OK with. I love my son so much. Its just different. Things that never bothered me before are sure as hell bugging me now and visa versa but I'm grateful to have come across this clip…
Today I have been reminded of how powerful the mind is…as he says “Where we place our attention is where we place our energy…”
With thoughts from the past and thoughts of the future constantly bombarding me It is so easy to takes myself out of the present moment.
But those paralyzing thoughts are not my current reality…
Not anymore
I am not trapped in this material world
I go from something to nothing through quiet meditation
I create from the quantum field or the invisible field of energy that connects us to ALL…
