Does your horse spook in the daylight, when you ride in the arena, or when you ride in nature? Does it suddenly become frightened or nervous about minor things you have to pass, or look around for an invisible enemy? The horse does not spook out of the blue; it is just us humans who do not notice certain signs. The horse has the same senses as us, but it does not perceive the same as humans. Therefore, it is central in all our dealings with horses to understand their senses and how they perceive their surroundings.
