The 9th Earl of Orkney, Political Scientist and Scottish Peer. Peter St. John was a lecturer at University College London prior to moving to the UofM, where he rose to prominence as Professor of Political Studies. Upon retirement in 1998, he succeeded to the Earldom of Orkney, as well as being named a Senior Scholar by the Province of Manitoba.
