England's 'Man for the Millennium' Kevin Keegan had started his time as England manager riding a wave of positivity. Of course, this wouldn't last.

However, Keggy's boys were still set on qualifying for Euro 2000 and had ill-conceived hopes of making a real impact at the tournament.

Standing in their way over a two-legged play off were old foes Scotland, under the rocksteady stewardship of Craig Brown.

With Scholes, Beckham, Owen & Shearer at Keegan's disposal, surely this would be a steady ride to the finals.

Let's see if England can do it the easy way shall we?

Join us for lots of Keegan, some marauding Sol Campbell and a dash of our favourite ingredient; excitable John Motson.
