I want to encourage the listening audience to keep the faith and don’t allow this world to dry them out and cause them to give out. We have to keep the faith and take all of our concerns, issues, burdens and cares to Jesus in prayer. Just one touch from Jesus can cause something miraculous to happen. When Jesus encountered the fig tree it had no fruit and offered nothing for anyone to draw from. He basically put the fig tree out of its misery. We want to bear fruit because Jesus said that every branch in Him that does not bear fruit, He takes it away and every branch that bears fruit He prunes that it may bear more fruit. When we make Jesus our Lord and Savior over our life, He will help us not to wither away and will prune the areas that will keep us from withering. Look to Jesus for the touch that will not only cause a fig tree to wither away but a touch that will cause us to bear fruit and live a productive life.
