Asking why a token or the market dropped or rose on one day is the wrong question.

Overall market long term market direction is caused by the central bank putting in or taking out liquidity.  (printing money or not)

The correct question is whether the ecosystem and value given to users of your investment will be much larger in 3-5 years.  If it will be, then its a good investment. And its best to buy when people are not eurphoric and after big drops.

The reason for those drops therefore is sort of irrelevant.
