Matt Stait is a martial arts and close body combat expert, turned TikTok and social media master, working with other businesses to leverage social media as whole, short form video, storytelling and branding.

School wasn’t a place where Matt felt comfortable, in fact he describes it as a disaster, which makes gaining his Masters degree at the age of 50 a more amazing achievement.

Starting out in construction, he moved into martial arts and security which taught him a log about people. In time he opened his own martial arts studio where Matt found that marketing and promotion were required but not part of his skillset at that stage. After 6 months of study Matt launched his own TikTok channel which quickly gained traction, and he began to teach other businesses how they could leverage TikTok too.

Matt gives an amazing insight into how to use hashtags effectively and why what you’re doing now might not work. We also talk in depth about short form video content, keywords and how everything fits together, and how it is the way of the future.
