Topic: God is dependable no matter what
Scripture reading: Psalms 18:2
This is David at the prime of his life. A life full of drama, wars, battle, persecution and conflicts.
This the man so in tune with nature and its elements. He has taken his cover and protection from caves, rocks and mountains.
What is he revealing to us here?
- God is a source of hope and confidence at all times and situations.
- Even today we still face our own mental, social and emotional battles that rock our ship.
- Listen to what David is saying here: My/my fortress/my deliverer/in Him I find protection/my shield/the power that saves me/my place of safety.
- All of these wrapped up in one word: Dependable
- If God can be trusted for physical safety and protection, surely He can be trusted in all things like David did.
- Therefore it doesn't matter what life throws at us. God is dependable!
- God is interested and concerned about your safety.
- Be safe in Jesus Name!
