Hello and welcome to “Inviting Calm” with Anita. This week I have been thinking a great deal about transformation. Here in New England the cooler temps and brilliancy of colors are showing the transformation of nature. I love the fall. The tapestry of colors, the skittering of animals as they prepare for the winter. Birds migrating, squirrels gathering food, and the sounds of insects as I walk in the woods. I enjoy the fall for so many reasons. I love “sweater weather’- cooler temps, the crispness of a fall morning, watching my dogs frolick, and as mentioned earlier- colors. The autumn pallet - rich hues of oranges, reds, and yellows. The sun’s rays has the power to transform these colors into a a glowing richness that is indescribable. It is magical.

For me, the change of seasons - no matter which one- helps me to think of change. Each season- wether it be the the physical seasons of the earth or the seasons of my life give way to goodbyes and hellos. The transformation of the physical and the spiritual or emotional. What are “the winds of change” bringing your way?  Are you open to change ?

Join me as we meditate using our breath to anchor us through “the cycle of change”.
