Hello. Welcome to Inviting Calm.  This week I have been more focused on mini mindful breaks and allowing myself to invite stillness into my being.

Ram Dass said,  “The quieter you become, the more you can hear.”

I know for me this is true. When I quiet my busy mind and internal and external chatter I usually gain much needed clarity.

I invite you to settle in as we prepare for our meditation.  Find a comfortable position . You may be seated or lying down.

You may decide to  Sit on a cushion or chair.  Allow your spine to be straight but not rigid. Relax your shoulders and place your hands on your lap or in a comfortable position. Feeling your body supported beneath you as you.

I invite you to close  your eyes or soften your gaze: Closing your eyes helps to minimize distractions and turn your focus inward. If you prefer to keep your eyes open, find a spot on the floor or a wall to rest your gaze without actively looking at anything.

A guided meditation using visualization and breathwork.
