Paul takes these so-called Spiritual giants back to their initiation to Christ.. He reminds them of the first principle of salvation. The penalty of sin is forgiven as proven by Chist's resurrection. Somehow they have been convinced that they would become so spiritual they would just be with God like Enoch of old.  Paul details why that is just not so.
