Taking up space is a key element for both your characters and for you the creative. How much space do I / my characters take up? Both physically and vocally / emotionally. We are entering the realm of making unconscious choices, conscious. And the creative / writer / actor / storyteller is the one to do this work first. In their creative life and their day-to-day life as well. When walking down the sidewalk or in a class room, do I tend to move to the edges or do I tend to go to the middle of the room / space. What is my relationship to open space? How do I feel about being close to a wall? In what spaces do I feel like I am take up a lot of space?
