As the church we live in a time called the already-not-yet--a strange title, to be sure. But it simply means, Christ has come, but he will also come again. He inaugurated the Kingdom in his death and resurrection, but there is more to be done on the day that “those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake.” (Daniel 12:3). So Babylon is our home for now, but, thank God, it is not our forever home. That means we need wisdom to be a beautiful-resistance church now, but we already have been given a glorious hope for the future.
