For many, Tex Perkins is something of a blend of man, myth and enigmatic raconteur. To others, he’s a bit of a dark horse, which just happens to be just one of the celebrated bands he’s been a part of. Others include the Beasts of Bourbon, The Cruel Sea and one third of Tex, Don and Charlie and TnT, a collaboration with You Am I’s Tim Rogers. Now, Tex has joined forces with the celebrated bluesman Matt Walker to form The Fat Rubber Band whose album Other World will be released in 2023.
