What started as a bit of a laugh - a UK woman renting out her husband - has turned into a full-time gig.

Laura Young found her man James to be awfully good at getting through those odd jobs - so much so she decided to advertise him on social media.

‘Rent My Handy Husband’ now goes for close to $80 NZ an hour - and James is fully booked right through November! He does everything from painting, decorating, carpet laying and even hanging up Christmas lights.
