It’s an rivalry as old as time itself - business versus unions

The Fair Pay Agreement bill is winding its way through parliament - it would mean minimum pay and conditions collectively set for entire industries or occupations.

Only 10 percent of a workforce would have to want it to go to the bargaining table, and if employers and employees can’t agree it’s kicked up to the Employment Relations Authority to sort.
