Should he stay or should he go? British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is right now facing a vote of confidence in his leadership.

Conservative MPs have cast their secret ballots to determine Johnson’s fate - and he needs the support of 180 MPs to survive. 

If Johnson stares this down his leadership is safe from another coup for 12 months - if not, he'll have to resign.
