Earlier this morning on First Light, Wilhelmina Shrimpton shared with a story about Lifewise and the Housing First programme - People who are standing alongside our homeless community, providing them with a roof over their head, and then wrap-around support.

But in some regions, the emergency housing crisis seems almost beyond repair. Rotorua’s Fenton Street McDonalds has been forced to hire security guards following issues with its unruly emergency housing neighbours.
