The people who staff the chair lifts, who run the cafes, manage traffic flows and car parking, fit your hire ski boots and skis and snowboards, who clean up at the end of each day, who run the ski lessons, and generally keep our ski fields operational, many of them are migrant labour or on working tourist visas.
