This week, leaders from the Hispanic Vote Coalition announced their support for a House spending bill that includes the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act (SAVE Act). This measure requires proof of citizenship to register to vote, which increases voting integrity and protects American elections.

"Every Member of Congress should support the SAVE Act and its inclusion in the House spending bill to protect the integrity of American elections. Its common sense requirement for proof of citizenship to register to vote will safeguard American elections at a time when they’re under unprecedented threat," said Alfredo Ortiz, CEO of Job Creators Network (JCN).

JCN and its Hispanic Vote Coalition recently announced a series of Hispanic Voter Activation Events aimed at bolstering the Hispanic vote ahead of the upcoming election. The events will educate leading organizers, small business owners, and church pastors and arm them with the tools needed to activate members of their respective communities to vote.
