In this episode, I speak with child and adolescent psychiatrist Dr. Moni Ravi about the importance of sleep for mental health, the practical benefits of addressing sleep issues first, and the need for concrete interventions in mental health care. We also talk about the challenges of integrating sleep in her practice due to limited appointment times.

Dr. Moni Ravi is a child and adolescent psychiatrist with a focus on outpatient care at Joseph Brand Hospital in Burlington. She is also involved in the Family Navigation Project at Sunnybrook Hospital, supported by the RBC Race for the Kids initiative. Dr. Ravi completed her medical training and residency in psychiatry and child & adolescent psychiatry at the University of Toronto.
