In this series I will be doing readings from a private, unpublished book, written by my dad to my sisters and I. The book is titled "Garabaldi Park - The Corner and Growing Up Italian." In this intro I discuss the book and read its prologue. In subsequent posts I will read a chapter a post. The chapters focus on the life and times of an Italian Immigrants son growing up during the Great Depression in Little Italy of New London Connecticut. I hope you will enjoy the stories but most of all hope my own Children and Grandchildren will enjoy them. Ciao
