"every photographer dreams of taking a photo that will stop the war." this is the quote by maks levin, a ukrainian journalist executed by russian terrorists for documenting their war crimes in kyiv suburbs earlier this year. freedom of speech is sacrosanct for ukrainians. that's why fierce and fearless ukrainian journalism became the backbone of the ukrainian democracy. these days thousands of ukrainian journalists keep risking their lives every day to make sure that the truth about this genocide is documented and amplified. despite that dozens of their colleagues are already killed by russian terrorists. despite that over 80% of them lost their income partially or fully. despite that foreign big tech keeps indiscriminately censoring their work and refuses to deplatform lavishly-funded kremlin propaganda. for this tribute to ukrainians who make truth louder we invited andrey boborykin, CEO of ukraine's largest and oldest independent newspaper ukrainska pravda.
