On this episode, we have Davis Zhen on board to speak with us!

Davis currently works within the EPA (which is the United States Environmental Protection Agency) as a Deputy Director, where he manages the Air & Radiation Division, as well as Land & Chemicals. He manages Region 10 that covers the whole Pacific Northwest… specifically including Alaska, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and other 271 tribal nations. 

Before becoming a Deputy Director, he got a degree in Chemical Engineering with a specific focus on nuclear chemistry. After graduating from UW, he worked for the USEPA almost immediately as a Radiation Program Specialist & then later became a Land Supervisor for managing sites that are incredibly hazardous to our community (Superfund Sites.)
