Show Notes:

Jeff Fields is an accomplished law enforcement professional with over two decades of extensive experience at both local and federal levels. Across his career, Jeff has been a patrol officer, a TFO, a Special Agent and a high level internal affairs investigator who conducted highly sensitive and widely publicized investigations driven by Congressional motivation, focusing on executive-level government personnel and programs.

In addition to his law enforcement career, Jeff worked as a medico-legal death investigator in both New Mexico and North Carolina. He holds certifications as an active shooter response instructor from the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center and has received advanced training in executive protection, firearms, whistleblower/retaliation claims, and procurement fraud.

Currently residing in North Carolina, Jeff is working on his first book Sober From Sin, which delves into "A Law Enforcement Veteran's Self-Investigation Journey through Trauma, Addiction, Faith, and Redemption."

Today we talk about the toll our careers in law enforcement take and the way the job can exacerbate the problems we face at work and at home. Jeff’s story is one that many law enforcement officers face and his mission now is to share his story and be an asset and resource to others dealing with the same issues he faced across over two decades in the field.
