An Christian analysis of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's suggestion that, rather than increasing oil production in order to offset energy requirements no longer satisfied by Russian oil as a result of economic sanctions, the nations of the world needed to further decarbonize their oil driven economies. From the Bible we learn that resource development is good, and that the lives of people who depend upon oil for heating, cooling, and other needs are sacred and therefore, worthy of cultivating this resource.
