Isaiah 6:1-3 describes God in His glory on His throne as "High and lifted up", the phrase “high and lifted up” occurs at two other points in Isaiah’s book. Biblical revelation confirms this trajectory by explicitly applying Isaiah 52 and 53 to Jesus Christ, God the Son. In Isaiah 52, we read that the servant is “high and lifted up” in exaltation, but the next 11 verses are about His suffering and death
