Romans 8:37 says, in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us. A known illustration compares this verse truth with a boxer that fought hard and won a prize in a boxing match. He went home and gave the prize to his wife. His wife was "more-than-a-conqueror" - she got all the benefits and did none of the painful work.
