Welcome to part two of the bucket list series. If you didn't watch part one, go back and watch that now.
Should Everyone Have a Bucket List? A bucket list is for anyone who wants to make sure that they do something fun before they die. Because life is really about fun, isn't it? It’s about experiencing good feelings and all the good life has to offer.
Death Is Not Real As we’ve talked about on this channel, death is not real. Sure our physical bodies will die, but you will never die. You are not your body. You are your consciousness, and that consciousness will live on forever.
So with that in mind, should we still have a bucket list? Yes, because life happens in the now.
You want to live your life to the fullest, not because life is scarce (because it’s not), but because you can. Your consciousness will live on forever, but because you can and should have more fun now, stop putting off your life.
Advantage How do we deal with regret if we feel like we've missed an opportunity in life? The answer to that is the principle called advantage. If you haven't heard us talk about advantage, then you probably have not been following this channel very long because we talk about this all the time.
Advantage is a Reality Transurfing principle. It's basically the idea that all things work together for our good. There is always an advantage to whatever happens. Things do work out perfectly. If they happen a certain way, that's because they're supposed to happen in a certain way, because it is for your good.
Your Dreams So let's say you had a dream to become a professional baseball player. Let’s say it was on your bucket list. But for one reason or another, possibly an injury, maybe you just weren't good enough, you never actually got to become a ball player.
But what if you could become a baseball coach? So maybe over your career, you got to help a hundred baseball players live the very best life that they could and fulfill their dreams of having an amazing baseball career that would not have happened if you were not their coach.
This is one example of applying the concept of advantage.
Microshifting So back to the bucket list idea: do not hold anything back and have no regrets. Put down everything that you want to do. If you feel like something really cannot happen, claim advantage, and think a little bit deeper. See if you can find something that does feel realistic for you - maybe an “even better” option.
Make sure you are taking micro-shifts. You want to get there in small bite-sized chunks that you can really believe in and feel good about.
Stay tuned for parts three and four, which will be coming out over the next few days. Remember to like, share, and subscribe, and I'll talk to you soon.
