[00:00:00] Melissa Pang: Authentic is a word that gets thrown around a lot. It's kind of a buzzword these days where everyone's claiming to be authentic. That's what people are looking for. You look at social media content creators, um, just across the board and you know, it can kind get lost in all of the.. buzz around it. Um, but what I do, I, I connect with people. I create relationships. I build relationships, I strengthen relationships and what I was noticing as I've done some presentations over the past few days. And as I create content for, um, different platforms, um, podcasts, LinkedIn people connect with people. This is not groundbreaking by any means, but I just wanna bring attention to the fact that if you are true to your personality, your values, what you believe in, and that comes through in your interactions with people, it's just so much easier to build connection and build community with people and they're looking for that authenticity. It's true, despite it being a buzzword, that's really what people are craving these days. They want the real Melissa, they want the real person. Um, who's maybe behind the camera. Um, who's on the Zoom call, who they are talking to. Uh, they really wanna hear your voice.

[00:01:33] And so that could even come out as you know, your inflection, how you're saying things, putting a little bit of your own personality into the different things that you're doing throughout the day, whether it's just touch base calls or the Zoom call or the Podcast, the Content Creation, the Video. That's what people are gonna connect with and they'll hear what you have to say so much clearer if they feel like they're actually hearing it from you as a real person and not a maybe scripted or canned version.

[00:02:05] So again, this isn't anything groundbreaking, but just a good reminder to stay authentic and stay true to who you are and, um, yeah, don't be afraid to let that side of you show, uh, both personally, but also professionally. Uh, you can create some, uh, great connections that way, meaningful connections.
