In a move purely to save face ACC commissioner Jim Phillips wants his teams to pack up their balls and go home. In a directive from the league office ACC schools are being told to stop scheduling road games at Group of 5 home stadiums. In 2022 ACC schools played 10 such games and lost 3 of them.
