This is the fourth episode in a seven-part series that introduces us to Jesus of Nazareth through the actual stories of people who had their lives transformed through an encounter with him. In this episode, we see Jesus inviting himself over to stay with one of the last people in the city that anyone would have expected Jesus to hang out with.

This is a powerful story of hope and what Rosaria Butterfield calls “radical ordinary hospitality”. This was a real-life prodigal son story that demonstrated how Jesus was fulfilling God’s promise to seek and to save the lost.
