Once upon a wheel, there was a magical maker of mugs. She was feeling the weight of the world so heavy and dark. So in the darkness she started spinning her wheel with clay, star dust and moon water to create a world of playful monsters and magical storybook pottery.

Kendra McCartney is a magical maker of monsters and storybook pottery in Lubbock, TX. She has been working in clay for sixteen years. The creative magic happens in her home studio with management from her studio cat, Amelia Pond and loving support from her husband, Josh Sharkey.
