DIALOGUE PRIME TIME PRESENTS

Author Robert Isenberg joins host Susan Wingate on Thursday, Dialogue Prime Time when he talks about his latest book, Why Men are Suspicious of Yoga: And Other Very, Very Funny Stories

ABOUT THE AUTHOR - ROBERT ISENBERG

Robert AKA "robear" Isenberg has probably spent 95% 0f his life daydreaming, which is where his stories come from. He also loves sales and marketing. When he was a teen he sold encyclopedias unsuccessfully door to door. A few years later he established Robert's Fairly Famous Roast Beef Sandwiches in singles bars in N.Y.C. His promo: "Our sandwiches are not only illiterate, but they are thick!!" He was a big hit with the ladies. Robert could cook a rare find, like his roast beef sandwiches.

Sometime later Robert went to work for a boot company. For the next thirty-five years, he spent his time designing boots and shoes from many countries, including China. He and his wife Esther established an office in Shanghai that was run by Alice Su, a wonderful example of China's magnificent work ethic. Now robear has written fifty-five very, very funny stories and when asked nicely he is willing to perform them.
