ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Douglas Arvidson grew up on a farm in Massachusetts. After serving in the military, he completed a Master’s degree, worked as a journalist, and spent twenty-five years overseas where his short stories and essays were published in literary magazines. In 1997 he won an international short story competition in Paris and later four novels were published by Crossquarter Publishing Group of Sante Fe, winning multiple literary awards including top honors in the 2017 New Mexico-Arizona Book Awards and a 2013 Book-of-the-Year Finalist Award from ForeWord Reviews. He has twice been an International Literacy Association Visiting Author. He is now working on a multi-volume family saga set in New England.
