My early writings about cryptoassets earned me a reputation as an early crypto adopter, and by 2016 the founders of “SA Crypto” invited me to take over their project (now the country’s largest digital community).
The new venture required me to part ways with the SBS Group in order to nurture SA Crypto to its full potential, and after careful consideration I indeed made the choice to take over the community.
From SA Crypto’s foundational platform my newly formed team and I launched the country's first dedicated news site for the industry in 2018. We then strategised a rebrand to “Global Crypto” in early 2020 and have garnered widespread international recognition.
The founders of SA/Global Crypto formed a holding company to oversee the brand, which would also serve as a marketing & media agency specifically serving the FinTech industry: “SwiftX PTY Ltd”, where I would serve as Director of Content.
I currently serve in this role in a consulting capacity, but primarily oversee the strategic trajectory of Global Crypto. I also facilitate a growing career in writing and public speaking on the subjects of technology and philosophy.

Several people invested in cryptocurrency without knowing much about the technology that is supporting the various crypto projects that are going on in the space.
Knowing this, I began to research and create content, Crypto Current, to educate myself and inform others so that they could begin to make more educated investment decisions in cryptocurrency.

I've been an entrepreneur and game designer my entire life, starting my first business while in college designing table top games before moving on to my first break into the video games industry in 1992. My passion remains game development, be it for computer, video game console or table top. I strive daily to evolve both creative development and business models in which games are delivered in this fast moving industry.
Specialties: I've been a professional video game developer since 1992, having begun as a game designer at first, and eventually adding producing to my responsibilities. I quickly rose from an assistant producer to a senior and later executive producer and ultimately ran my own company as CEO for a decade before selling and moving on. I'm an old hand in all aspects of game development from project development to business development to purchasing, contract negotiation and executive management.
