Thank you for supporting the podcast through this momentous occasion. We have helped a lot of people across the globe become better versions of themselves and we hope to continue to do so for many, many episodes to come. In this episode, we welcome the OG (Original Guest) Nick Nunley. We revisit with him and learn about his journey and how far he has come since we talked with him nearly 2 years ago. This is a great episode where we talk about the spiritual wellness journey and the struggles we all endure when faced with the tough decision of allowing ourselves to be reborn.

Episode 98 brings us ever closer to our 100th episode. Woo Hoo! Today we talk about the truth and why a lot of people do not want to hear it. People who have gaslit themself into believing their own version of reality will often run away from the truth in order to preserve their safe, little cubby of delusion. Are you one of those people? Do you know people like that? We'll cover all of that and more.

In episode 97 we talk about the importance of aspiring to become great. But, we can often aspire to the wrong bar. We can let the actions of others dictate the path we choose. This trap is more and more common in today's social media-centric climate. Finding your true self is the only bar you should be pursuing.

Sticking with the theme of Occupational Wellness, Episode 96 has us talking about the traps of the job. Occupational Wellness is an often overlooked dimension of wellness. This is unfortunate because it can have a profound effect on so many aspects of our life. The constant dangling of the "paycheck carrot" can cause us to overlook the fact that our career is causing us major harm. Being able to acknowledge this is one thing, being able to act on it for the benefit of our well-being is a whole different story.

In episode 95, we talk about the rules of the game (of life). We focus on Social wellness and Occupational wellness. The current climate has a lot of us dealing with constantly moving goalposts in our daily lives. Relationships and careers can often present us with a challenge to our integrity and moral values. You are correct in staying on the path and maintaining your character, but what do you do when the other players in the game start playing by a different set of rules?

In this episode, we revisit a classic from our Greatest Hits. In Episode 12 I tell a story about a Big Talking Cock and teach a lesson about finding and fine-tuning your role. In life, we all have several roles we play (Parent, employee, mentor, daughter, etc.). It's easy to fall into these roles because we "think we should" or because we were told to. But learning what makes us happy and finding motivation is, arguably, the only way we can truly find the roles that we are best suited for.

Episode 90 has us talking about the concept of micro managing your life. No, no. It's what you think. Micro managing is a "simple" concept that involves looking at your life in small manageable sections or micro sections. By narrowing your scope of concern, you can easily focus your energy into a specific task. over time you will perfect that task because, then move onto the next. Over more time, you will perfect numerous micro tasks, leading to a better quality of life. Of course, no method is perfect and you have to find out what works best for you. But, perhaps micro management can prove beneficial in small doses.

Episode 79 has us talking about the privileges we grant to others. Specifically, what knowledge we allow others to know. Social wellness in possibly the most dynamic of the wellness dimensions, therefore making it one of the toughest to navigate. When socially interacting, you will sometimes engage with other who are not your equals, or rather, are not on the same level as you in the relationship. These relationships are often one sided, with you doing all the giving and the other person doing all the taking. We dive into what it means to give others knowledge of yourself and why it's important to analyze relationships regularly and shorten your social roster if needed.

In episode 77 we discuss the concept of being kind. But one thing we often fail to realize is our own limits within the realm of kindness. Yes, you can spread yourself too thin. And you can do too much for others to the point that it takes away from your own well being. Doing for others is something we should all strive for to an extent with which we are comfortable. But we must remember to not work ourselves to death by over investing in all places except where we need it the most - us.

On Episode 61 of the Subjectively Objective podcast, we analyze some "words of wisdom" from one of the social media "gurus" and the impact they can have on those who don't know any better. Information is abundant in our society. But the right information can be hard to decipher at times. This episode reviews a discussion I had with a colleague and former client of mine. The effect information can have you as you pursue your journey can be positive or negative. It is important to understand that not all information and guidance is created equal.

It's the salty sea air for me and me crew. Yes. Episode 59 is, indeed, a pirate themed episode. We talk about the importance of focus. Sometimes, we may lose sight of our goals. But the one constant is the horizon. By maintaining our course and using the horizon, no matter what life throws our way, we can reach our destination. We just have to keep our ship pointed in the direction we need to go and trust our instinct. All the hard work we have done to plot the course will pay off. Just beyond the horizon, our treasure awaits.

2021 is here. Congrats! You made it. Now, it's time to start the year off on the right foot. Today, on the Subjectively Objective Podcast, we discuss that while it is mandatory to keep your focus on the goals ahead of you, it is necessary to take a look back and remember where we have come from. We naturally choose the path of least resistance as a survival mechanism. Looking back to those obstacles we have overcome can give perspective to how far we have come. What was once a difficult task at one point in our life, may be a trivial task in our current state of growth. Acknowledging this can help us recognize and communicate with others who may be in need of guidance and positive reinforcement. ---

We have been taught that setting goals is a way of life. It starts at a very young age and shapes our path through life depending on how well we comprehend it. So what happens when we are in the habit of making goals as an excuse to keep from pursuing the ones we have already set? Today on the podcast we talk about using goals as an excuse. It's easy to fool ourselves into thinking we are making progress when in fact, all we are making a is a long, unattainable list of empty dreams.---

If you are going through life pursuing a goal, it's possible that you can continue on the path without seeing any progress. A reason for this is that you are trying to reach your destination but are traveling the wrong path or you don't have the tools necessary to continue on your journey. The only way to achieve this goal is to create an environment in which you can succeed. “If you wish to make an apple pie from scratch, you must invent the universe.”  ---- @MacHawbaker (www.MacHawbaker.com) ---- Music provided by Nova Rockafeller (www.novarockafeller.com) ---- Subjectively Objective is produced by Filmception Media Group, @FilmceptionMG (www.Filmception.com) ---- Visit our sponsor @WellnessDonut (www.WellnessDonut.com)

Focusing on the self is essential to understanding what you need to do to reach your full potential. "But it's hard." - Scott Pilgrim, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World. Firstly, If you haven't seen this flick, DO IT! Secondly, this has a lot to do with what the Subjectively Objective podcast is about today. Communication is hard. Often times, we allow ourselves to get caught in an invisible fight with the other person(s) in the relationship because neither one wants to properly communicate. But, given time, the smallest of drops of water can erode through a rock. Communication is not easy, and can sometimes lead to undesired outcomes. But we are all better for it. "...Sounds wave their little wings, A moment, then in weariness settle..." The ability to quiet the mind is an art form that, in my opinion, has been lost through generations of focusing on reaction instead of action. I think that if we take Action to quiet ourselves and re-center our mind, body, and spirit, instead of Reacting to what is going on around us, we can have a better understanding of our surroundings and how we fit into the universe.
