"Educators Moving On" with Dana Gastich French is a rallying cry for educators ready to embrace change and unlock their full potential in the dynamic landscape of teaching.

" I had a clear sense that I needed to make a change or the system in which I was working was not ready for the change that I was advocating for. However, when it wasn't received well, I would look back at myself and believe the narrative that I was, in fact, the problem.

And it's really hard to bear witness as an administrator in a system to inequities to fight for them and speak up for them and to be told that I was essentially too much. But what I recognized through conversation with other colleagues is that there are systems that do have readiness for this, and that the reality in which I was living was not the reality everywhere.

So I needed to stop turning the blame on myself and saying, you have a gift to share. The fact that it's not being received here doesn't mean that it's unworthy or that you're unworthy. It means you need to find a setting that matches what you have to share. "
