Friday the 13th didn't lead to any unexplained weird phenomenon, but the show did span the sports spectrum from 6-year-old youth sports to pro sports, from hockey and lacrosse to football, to a veteran high school coach and official to a first-year playcaller.

Pelion HS head boys basketball coach, defensive coordinator and long-time HS sports official David Smith joined the program (31:00 mark). He assessed the official shortage, how high school sports have changed through the years, and weighed in on what coaching Bruce and Andre Ellington was like.

Former Gamecock QB Perry Orth (1:01:00 mark) was recently named the new offensive coordinator at Cardinal Newman HS where his former Gamecock teammate Cory Helms takes over as head coach. Perry touched on being a first-time playcaller, his coaching influences, and how modern offenses can have an answer for almost anything a defense tries to do to stop it.
